Responsibilities

As a Senior Facilities Manager with Hines, you will take full responsibility and commensurate authority for the management of all vendors, processes, budget, and assigned personnel on behalf of a fast-paced and growing corporate office client. You will act to support the client company’s ability to provide its employees with a daily work environment consistent with their culture and high standards, and have the opportunity to take ownership of the assigned site(s) and implement client’s standard operating procedures. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Implement a long-term & short-term facility management strategy that aligns with the Firms’ evolving goals and objectives
  • Manages facilities services through a team of facility professionals including FMs, AFMs, Coordinators and several key outsourced vendors
  • Ensures outstanding levels of service to the client and prompt issue resolution
  • Manages performance of vendors ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to agreed standards and tracking to completion
  • Liaison with lines of businesses contacts and operating team for efficient flow of communication
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, including but not limited to operating & capital expenses

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, information technology or related field from an accredited institution
  • Seven or more years of experience in facilities management, client services or a related field
  • Experience with financial services clients is desired
  • Highly proficient with a range of information technology tools and platforms including Microsoft Office, especially Excel; and CMMS/work management applications
  • Excellent communication, client service, and project management skills
  • Speak before an audience and lead property tours with confidence, using appropriate communication skills and professionalism
  • Analytical problem solver skilled in developing strategic process improvements to maximize resources, contain costs, optimize space, and enhance services
  • Strong leader and team builder with excellent training, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Manager skilled in collection and interpretation of data, recognizing trends and formulating recommendations that strive to improve efficiently of the client’s business model
  • Maintain organization and time management skills
  • Interacts with employees, visitors, client and business unit employees with pose and diplomacy
  • Possess a strong understanding of key facilities management industry related metrics and the inter-relationship with client Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Current driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Americas as required (estimated one site visit per month)
  • Detects emergency alarms, auditory and/or visual and maintains calm demeanor in emergency situations
  • Meets highest attendance and punctuality requirements
  • Operates personal computer, fax telephones and other office equipment
  • Walks up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure or implantation
  • Compensation: $161,200 - $221,650
