Responsibilities

As a Reporting Analyst, Portfolio Modeling with Hines, you will be responsible for working closely with the senior leadership in the Portfolio Modeling division of Investment Management. The primary role is to support the production of Quarterly Fund reports, Investor Reports, and assisting the Capital Markets Group with investor requests and due diligence queries. This position will require working in close partnership with the Director of Portfolio Modeling to facilitate seamless reporting operations and engage with multiple teams throughout the organization. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Support Quarterly Investor Reporting

  • Determine fund performance and investor returns for internal and external reporting

  • Prepare cash flow forecasts for investor reporting and in response to other inquiries

  • Assist Capital Markets Group with answering investor requests

  • Assist with Due Diligence queries from potential new investors

  • Quarterly review of all asset models

  • Responsible for elements of property database maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelors’ degree required from an accredited institution; and relevant accounting, economics, or finance qualification preferred
  • One or more years of work experience in an accounting or finance function
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills

  • Strong communication, listening and organizational skills

  • Strong report writing skills/presentation skills

  • Self-starter and team player who embraces collaboration

  • Accurate under time pressure and exceptional attention to detail

  • Flexible approach to work

  • Ability to work overtime as required by circumstances
