Responsibilities

Role Profile

 

To lead your individual teams to create positive, memorable experiences by exceeding expectations for all our residents, whilst ensuring your properties meet the established operational, financial, and business performance goals. To champion and execute company strategies related to property management operations by implementing agreed policies, procedures, and practices, whilst actively driving improvement and operational excellence. Your time will be appropriately split across all sites according to operational requirements at any given point in time.

 

Location: This is a property site-based role, and the employee is expected to work on a day-to-day basis within the property portfolio.

 

  • To provide forward-thinking leadership and direction for the property teams in each student accommodation location, ensuring that operational, financial, and a range of other objectives are met.
  • To ensure we exceed fund and asset management expectations by delivering budgets and identifying and implementing actions to maintain and improve effectiveness and service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all agreements, leases, and contracts.
  • Ensure the teams remain compliant with all business-related legislation, including Health & Safety, Data Protection, and privacy. There is a requirement to be knowledgeable of health and safety regulations or prepared to gain expertise in this area.
  • Responsible for developing new and existing business relationships within both the private and academic sectors.
  • Overall financial responsibility for all of the sites, driving year-on-year improvement in performance.

  • Fully responsible for the sales strategy alongside the marketing department, ensuring all sites are 100% full and all sales drives are completed successfully.

  • Places the customer at the heart of decision-making; constantly ensuring our people and practices are aligned to the needs of the customer.
  • Oversee the provision of a service that is constantly pursuing customer retention and recommendation.
  • Facilitate ongoing H&S training programs for General Managers and staff across all properties to maintain high safety standards.
  • Compile and analyze regional H&S performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Willing to seek feedback and review ways to do things better.
