Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the administration of the service charges arising on our property portfolios. You will be required to work closely with the respective Property Managers, Building and Facilities Managers to provide an efficient and timely preparation and issuing of reports and reconciliations applicable to the various properties owned or managed by us. You will also be required to assist the Service Charge Accountants in their day-to-day work where necessary.

 

  • Checking electricity recharges against tenancy schedule and meter read schedule, processing on the system and issuing to tenants and client where necessary
  • Updating electricity recharge tracker and ensuring that admin fees are raised
  • Assist in setting up service charge reconciliation templates in preparation for year-end review
  • Sending out Transaction and BvA to Property Managers and FM for the preparation of budgets
  • Monitoring and updating budget tracker and chasing up for any outstanding budgets
  • Uploading budgets to the system and sending out draft charge raise reports to Property Managers for approval
  • Regular checking of property service charge funds
  • Complete cash reconciliations on a timely basis
  • Preparing monthly service charge cash reconciliations and liaising with Service Charge Accountants on any issues
  • Liaise with Property Managers, Service Charge Accountants, and tenants where necessary

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Previous experience with property accounting systems but not essential
  • Previous experience with Excel
  • Proactive with excellent problem solving skills
  • Good typing skills and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good numerical skills including computer literacy (Excel, Word, MS Outlook)
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • High level of organisational and administrative skills
  • Able to use initiative and take responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
