The Multifamily Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies and optimizing revenue performance across a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role involves using data analysis, market research, and industry trends to maximize rental income while maintaining competitive positioning within local markets. The candidate will work closely with Community Managers, Senior Leadership, and Asset Managers to manage occupancy, rent growth, and financial performance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Revenue Manager evaluates asset performance through available pricing tools and is responsible for maximizing revenue outcomes for their portfolio.
Review daily rate recommendations and liaise with on-site, regional, and asset managers regarding pricing inquiries.
Lead pricing discussions with property, regional, and asset managers to assess asset performance, ensure lease compliance, identify potential risks, and propose solutions.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members at all levels, while proactively suggesting best practices including strategic analysis of pricing, inventory, and demand.
Provide training on revenue management concepts and the pricing system for clients, operations teams, management, and on-site personnel.
Adhere to complex analytical methodologies.
Analyze asset performance and aggregate the results up to a portfolio or sub-market level utilizing company platforms such as Market Analytics, BI, and Benchmarking.
Conduct quarterly performance measurement analysis and report to senior management on financial results, revenue management adoption behavior, leasing velocity, and market conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and all levels of management to develop revenue strategies.
Perform ad hoc data analysis on underperforming assets and propose corrective action plans.
Develop renewal strategies based on portfolio goals and market data, advising on strategy and managing the monthly execution of renewal offers.
Minimum Requirements include:
Three or more years of experience in revenue management, pricing models and software.
Two or more years of on-site experience in multifamily operations.
Experience utilizing revenue management software required, experience in Yieldstar/AIRM/Entrata Revenue Intelligence a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required with advanced Excel experience required
Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication with Asset Managers and Analysts to maximize revenue.
Proven track record of analyzing data and making informed decisions based on market insights.
Flexible workplace schedule depending on candidate and business needs
Work indoors approximately 100% of the time.
Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment.
