Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst/Associate for Investor Relations with Hines, you will support Hines’ global fundraising and client servicing efforts with a focus on investor relations for current and prospective institutional investors in the EMEA region. Cooperate closely and support the Managing Director of Investor Relations to respond to current and prospective investor inquiries to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Support Investor Relations team in operational and daily business matters.
  • Effectively communicate specific details about Hines’ past, current and prospective investment vehicles.
  • Create critical documents and other communications, ensuring appropriate messaging in response to current investors’ enquiries.
  • Collaborate during the investor onboarding process for EMEA domiciled institutional investors from initial commitments to closings, facilitate communication with investors including reporting, handling inquiries, delivering information, and providing feedback from investors to Hines, for example on strategic changes of the respective fund.
  • Cooperate internally across various departments such as fund management, finance, legal and tax.
  • Provide immediate access to Hines’ global platform and investment vehicles and forms an integral part of Hines’ EMEA capital markets team.
  • Collaborate to optimize and maintain a database for existing investors for datamining and reference purposes.
  • In exceptional cases responsibilities may also include responding to industry surveys, updating consultant profiles and databases, investment management subscription management, data room management and content library management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Two or more years of related experience, particularly within institutional real estate, in an investment management, investor relations, research, financial analysis or consulting role.
  • Extremely service orientated with a positive mindset to attend investor requests.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and relationship building skills.
  • Additional Languages required (German preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various types of data to draw conclusions and solve problems.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Perform numerical and financial calculations and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the real estate terms and concepts as well institutional investment vehicles preferred.
