**Open to location but selected candidate must reside within the assigned territory: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Kentucky.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Director with Hines, you will develop and execute sales plans to increase sales and market share within the assigned territory.  Partnering with an internal director, the Hines Regional Director will be responsible for building relationships and raising capital through financial intermediaries in the Private Bank (wirehouse), Regional, Independent Broker-Dealer and RIA channels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Build robust and lasting relationships with alternative investment users at third party intermediaries, bringing a deep subject matter expertise of Hines investment platform to the sales process, and being accountable for significant asset growth.
  • Work with distribution partners in various client segments across US private wealth to drive new business opportunities.
  • Clearly and concisely articulate multiple product characteristics to sophisticated financial advisors.
  • Initiate education and sales activity with financial advisors not currently engaged in discussions with Hines.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
  • Utilize expense budgets to set limits and maximize sales opportunities within assigned territory. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposals and/or distribution of relevant marketing materials.
  • Maintain sales call data in appropriate systems and/or complete sales reports
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Hines products, services and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Develop business on behalf of Hines in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations.
  • Identify and recommend to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Serve as a resource to internal/external stakeholders for assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Ten or more years of experience years in financial services sales that aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Experience in the Private Bank(wirehouse), IBD, and RIA channels preferred.
  • Must hold a Series 7 and 63 license.
  • Proficiency in Financial Services Sales, Wholesaling, Alternative Products, Relationship Management.
  • Preferably live in assigned territory or be willing to move.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Superb communication skills both oral and written.
  • Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions.
  • Drives performance targets to completion.
  • Some client entertainment is required.
  • Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate.
  • Significant travel is required.
