Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst with Hines, you will support Hines’ Institutional Investor Solutions team in all aspects of capital raising and structuring globally. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Support the Institutional Investor Solutions team in operational and daily business matters.

  • Create and develop investor relationships that will result in meetings with senior capital raisers and investment teams.

  • Think strategically and act proactively to continually improve investor relationships.

  • Track upcoming meetings and ensure presentation materials and supporting documentation are prepared in advance.

  • Use Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce, to track investor data and communication.

  • Create critical documents, presentations and other communications and liaise with internal teams such as research and investor services where needed, ensuring appropriate messaging for meetings with prospective and current investors.

  • Participate in firm-wide strategic initiatives that enhance the suite of investment products and services Hines provides to investors and advisors.

  • Participate in planning Hines investor events.

  • Conduct research on investors – track big announcements, deals, increasing or decreasing allocation, and other critical performance indicators, and consider the implications for Hines.

  • Work closely across product, trading, technology, and operations groups to manage key deliverables and provide work updates during weekly meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business related area.
  • Two or more years experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in a sales or sales support role preferred.
  • Must currently hold Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Must be detailed-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effectively exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Expected to work in the office 4-5 days per week.
