The Debt Management Team will be responsible for overseeing the company’s debt portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with debt obligations. This role will involve collaboration with internal teams, lenders, and stakeholders to optimize financing strategies and support overall financial objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and monitor the company’s debt obligations, including loans, credit facilities, and other financing arrangements, and assist in evaluating the risk level of each to help guide financial decisions.
Review and maintain accurate records of debt agreements and related documents and payment schedules in the debt management system.
Collaborate with the accounting teams to reconcile debt balances, collect financial data, and prepare compliance reports for timely submission to lenders.
Collaborate with internal teams to secure new loans, execute amendments and hedges, and support strategic financing decisions.
Analyze debt structures and provide insights on refinancing opportunities, interest rate changes, and other financial impacts.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to debt management and compliance.
Provide support during audits and regulatory reviews concerning debt management practices.
Minimum Requirements include:
Knowledge of real estate finance and debt structures is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems; familiarity with Chatham Direct is a plus.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
