Hines European Real Estate Partners (HEREP) is a series of discretionary, closed-ended funds targeting high-conviction, thematic investments in prime European markets. Focused on capitalizing on fundamental trends and market inefficiencies, HEREP employs active management to generate strong returns across business cycles
HEREP III, the latest fund in the series, closed in November 2023 with over €1.6 billion in equity, positioning it as one of Europe’s largest closed value-add strategy funds. The Series' total equity commitments now exceed €3.4 billion, including €1.8 billion from its two predecessors.
Following a busy year in which the Fund has raised a significant amount of equity, the team is now seeking to hire an Intern to work in the Fund Management team. The core team currently comprises a Fund Manager, Deputy Fund Manager, Head of Lifecycle and three Associates / Analysts, supported by a wider affiliated group of property and finance professionals. The candidate will support the team across a wide range of fund management responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Investment strategy
Portfolio performance
Investor relations
Minimum Requirements include:
Graduate with relevant degree (for example real estate, finance, business etc.); MBA/Master’s degree (preferred)
Two or three years of work experience (desirable)
Multi-tasker, able to provide complicated financial analysis and develop appropriate corporate finance solutions
Real estate experience is not required; however, an understanding of general Real Estate concepts is preferred
Collaborative and detail-oriented team player with ability able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Good verbal and written presentation and communications skills
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
