Responsibilities

Hines is looking to hire an Analyst/Senior Analyst to work with the Hines Nordics acquisition teams, to support its multi-sector portfolio. The role is based in Copenhagen but can be transferred to Sweden later in 2026, reporting directly to Senior Director level.

 

Hines Nordics manages a current portfolio totalling c €1.4bn across the residential, retail, office, logistics and light industrial sectors.  The Analyst/Senior Analyst role will initially be focussed on supporting the acquisition teams as they research, underwrite and acquire new projects for the various Hines discretionary funds.  Over time they will take greater levels of responsibility to lead projects directly.  Hines Nordics has a wealth of capital within its reach, including discretionary funds such as the Hines European Core Fund, Hines European Property Partners, Hines European Real Estate Partners, Hines Global Income Trust and non-discretionary separate accounts.  The business also makes Hines balance sheet investments in one-off transactions or programmatic joint ventures.

 

  • Support the research and underwriting of new Nordic wide acquisitions across the risk spectrum from core through to development and opportunistic;
  • Preparing internal investment memorandums, investor presentations and business plans;
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for both new and existing assets;
  • Provide detailed analytics to all stakeholders, including capital partners, banks and other key service providers;
  • Review quarterly/monthly reports;
  • Assist in completing/reviewing internal reporting and budget reviews;
  • Respond to internal information requests;
  • Prepare local market data compilations.

Qualifications

Candidate Attributes

  • University degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a subject area demanding high analytical aptitude.

  • Minimum 1-years work experience in the specific field with a demonstrable track record relevant to the job description.

  • Highly numerate with a strong skillset in representing the concepts of real estate investment accurately and efficiently in Excel form.

  • Demonstrable interest in real estate (not necessarily from professional qualifications or experience).

  • Understanding of the conceptual framework of real estate investment and investment management more broadly.

  • Strong understanding of the MS Office suite, most particularly Excel, but also PowerPoint and Word.

  • Excellent communication skills with confident fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.

Salary will be at market and depend on the specific experience and skill set of the candidate. The role is initially based in Copenhagen.
