The successful Event Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing sales revenue by building strong relationships with 3rd party customers, internal and external vendors, and key stakeholders.
This influential leader will be fundamental in recognizing business opportunities to drive overall revenue for CIBC SQUARE including The Park, and its food hall TABLE Fare + Social.
This is a full time position reporting to the Community Engagement Manager. As Event Sales Manager, you will work closely with the Property Management team to develop and implement the strategic marketing plan for the asset. You will focus on 3rd party bookings to drive foot traffic, increase tenant sales, connect with the communities we serve, and elevate the overall brand of CIBC SQUARE. There will be occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work required when events are scheduled.

Minimum Requirement include:
8+ years of relevant industry experience in Hospitality, Venue Management, Property Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Brand and Retail Marketing.
5+ years’ experience in event management, strategy, planning, execution, and promotion.
Event sales experience or exposure.
High energy, adaptable, and self-directed with a proactive approach.
Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge of industry best practices.
Digital marketing experience with the ability to manage social media, SEO, data analytics, and content creation.
