Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Marketing Operations owns the end-to-end operating system for Global Marketing & Communications. This role establishes the structure, discipline, and orchestration required to move from a service-based model to an integrated, strategic model powered by concurrent collaboration.

Acting as the system owner across all marketing and communications work, this leader designs and enforces how initiatives are initiated, prioritized, sequenced, resourced, and delivered across teams. The role ensures that campaigns and strategic initiatives are co-designed upfront, executed with speed and clarity, and delivered with predictable quality at scale.

This is not a coordination role—it is a system authority role responsible for eliminating fragmentation, enforcing standards, and enabling global scale, including future AI-enabled workflows.

  • Own the Marketing Operating System (intake → orchestration → delivery)
  • Enable concurrent collaboration across Marketing, Communications, Property Marketing, and Platforms
  • Establish and enforce global workflow, prioritization, and delivery standards
  • Provide full visibility into capacity, timelines, and execution performance

  • Establish and manage a single global intake system (no side-channel requests)
  • Define and enforce briefing standards and quality control
  • Own prioritization process and governance (in partnership with Performance & Enterprise Enablement)
  • Enable transparent trade-offs and decision-making across competing priorities

Workflow Architecture

  • Design and implement standardized workflow stages (intake → strategy → production → delivery)
  • Eliminate sequential handoffs and replace with concurrent collaboration
  • Define roles, approvals, and handoffs across teams
  • Continuously optimize workflows for speed, quality, and scalability

Traffic & Resource Management

  • Provide real-time visibility into capacity and workload across global teams
  • Allocate resources across:
    • Global Capability Engine
    • In-house agency
    • External vendors
  • Identify bottlenecks and rebalance resources proactively

Governance & Operating Cadence (Team Management)

  • Own operational components of leadership cadence (QBR logistics, tracking, follow-through)
  • Establish and enforce decision tracking, accountability, and milestone discipline
  • Support leadership forums with structured agendas, documentation, and execution follow-through

System Integration & Enablement

  • Partner with:
    • Performance & Enterprise Enablement (prioritization logic, KPIs)
    • Platforms & Shared Services (systems, PMO, execution engine)
  • Ensure workflows are integrated with technology platforms and data systems
  • Lay the foundation for AI-enabled and agentic workflows through standardization and instrumentation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field from an accredited institution required
