As a Senior Compensation Analyst at Hines, you will be part of a Compensation team supporting over 4,500 employees worldwide. This role should provide excellent internal customer service and be able to interact with all management levels. You should be able to apply your compensation knowledge to conduct analysis and interpretation related to Hines’ compensation programs for colleagues across Europe. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Help administer the global annual compensation programs, such as annual salary increases, designated cash based short-term incentive and long-term incentive plans.
Ensure the alignment and integrity of the compensation data in the HRIS and related systems through routine data audits.
Drive the compensation survey submission process and implement data analysis techniques to assess survey results, determine market trends, and assess geographic or industry-specific variables.
Partner with the regional HRBP and Talent Acquisition groups to understand business needs, job requirements, and organization design to evaluate jobs and provide guidance on offers. Market price positions as needed.
Educates business partners, leadership and team members on Hines's compensation practices, guidelines and procedures.
Ensure clean, reconciled data is available to support HR and workforce reporting, dashboards, and analytics used by HR leaders and business stakeholders.
Support HR system integrations and data interfaces by assisting with testing, validation, and issue resolution related to HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll data exchanges.
Support the integration and alignment of people data across multiple domains (HR, Compensation Plans, Benefits, and Payroll), assessing and reporting on data flows to support effective downstream reporting platforms across regions.
Maintain departmental communications/files/reporting.
Conduct ongoing analysis to support market pricing and assist leaders with making informed decisions with regards to salary range, titles, and FLSA status.
Recommends continuous process/system improvements, innovative solutions and policy changes from established policies. Provides support with identified projects and execution according to project schedule.
Assists in development of new compensation or total reward programs and guidelines and supports operational and regional leadership in efforts to facilitate competitive, equitable and cost-effective compensation programs.
Participates in other projects and ad hoc requests as delegated.
Minimum Requirements include:
Experience with executive compensation, incentive plan modelling, or financial analysis supporting leadership-level decision making is strongly preferred.
Ability to work under general guidance with strong independence, applying a deep working knowledge of compensation best practices, financial principles, and analytical methodologies.
Proficient in Workday, Workday Reporting and PowerBI.
Advanced Excel expertise (lookups, pivot tables, modelling, charts, and large data set manipulation) plus proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suits.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail and ability to demonstrate high performance standards.
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to gather, analyze and organize data.
Proficient at performing numerical and financial calculations.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Takes initiative and follows through to completion on all areas of responsibility.
Good communications skills to build relationships with individuals at all levels.
Must be team oriented and exercise a strong customer service orientation, sense of urgency, and ability to anticipate internal and external customer needs and acts accordingly.
Workday experience preferred, but not necessary.
Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson or other compensation-related software is preferred, but not necessary.
