Responsibilities

Hines Private Wealth Solutions is scaling rapidly across Asia-Pacific. We are seeking a results-driven Senior Director to lead our expansion and capital-raising efforts with a primary focus on the Greater China market.

This senior, client-facing role carries full ownership of originating and closing capital from a diverse ecosystem, including global private banks, wealth management platforms, and the family wealth community. Joining a high-growth, entrepreneurial team, you will act as a bridge between Hines’ global investment expertise and the sophisticated needs of investors across the Greater China region. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned professional with a deep regional network and a proven ability to drive independent results in a collaborative, "warm expert" environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Originate, manage, and grow strategic relationships with private banks, wealth management platforms, and family offices across Greater China and the broader APAC region.
  • Drive end-to-end capital-raising processes for Hines PWS funds, tailored real estate solutions, and co-investment opportunities.
  • Develop and execute targeted coverage strategies to build a robust pipeline and secure mandates within the Greater China private wealth landscape.
  • Leverage Hines’ global capabilities to craft and position real estate investment strategies that align with the specific objectives and mindsets of Greater China investors.
  • Work closely with the broader Hines APAC and global teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and exceptional long-term servicing.
  • Contribute to the platform’s culture by mentoring junior team members and proactively sharing market insights to drive collective success.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional designations are a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in private wealth, capital raising, or private markets (real estate or private equity preferred).
  • Proven success in independently raising capital and securing mandates from sophisticated private wealth segments.
  • Strong existing network of private banks, wealth advisors, and family offices within the Greater China region.
  • Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is required, alongside excellent English communication skills.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, results-driven, and proactive—comfortable taking high ownership in a scaling, fast-paced business.
  • Excellent team player who collaborates effectively across global regions and functions.
  • Willingness to travel across Greater China and the wider APAC region as needed.
