The Director – Financial Crime Framework & Assurance will be responsible for supporting the continued development, implementation and oversight of Hines' global Financial Crime Compliance framework, ensuring that Hines adheres to all applicable laws in the jurisdictions it operates in.
The role will focus both on Hines financial services entities in the US, UK, Luxembourg, Singapore, Australia, and Japan but also on Hines’ real estate activities subject to AML regulation in the European Union, Mexico and others.
Working closely with the Managing Director – Financial Crime Compliance, the Director will drive the development of the financial crime compliance framework, including the development of policies and procedures, risk assessments and management reporting.
The role will also provide independent oversight of the effectiveness of operational financial crime activities, ensuring that standards are consistently applied, controls are effective and continuous improvement opportunities are identified and implemented.
Minimum Requirements include:
Experience developing and implementing compliance or financial crime frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes
Extensive knowledge of anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption and wider financial crime frameworks
Excellent influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to drive change without direct line authority
