Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller - Asset Management with Hines, you will be responsibile for:

 

  • Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with HGB

  • Support in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements

  • Processing of project-related payment transactions

  • Execution of capital calls and loan drawdowns

  • Participation in external annual audits and other audits

  • Preparation of monthly VAT advance returns

  • Support in the preparation of tax returns by the external tax advisor and the corresponding reviews

  • Support in reporting, as well as in budget monitoring and administration

  • Investor-specific ad hoc tasks for various stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or tax advisory - e.g. training as a tax clerk; alternatively, a completed degree in a relevant field
  • Strong IT skills in all common MS Office products, especially Excel
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Analytical mindset and a strong affinity for numbers
  • Structured approach, strong organizational skills, flexibility, and highly developed teamwork and communication skills
