We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of the family office. This role will be primarily involved in the day-to-day accounting activity of the department, including cash, real estate, and tax reporting for various entities owned by the Hines family. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple functions, maintains strict confidentiality, and enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will be working closely with family office leadership, internal tax team members, and treasury partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cash management, and timely regulatory compliance. Minimum Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA designation or CPA candidate preferred.
3–5 years of accounting experience.
Experience in a family office, private investment office, wealth management, public accounting, or closely held business environment preferred.
Experience with multi-entity accounting and investment accounting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with trusts, partnerships, LLCs, and private investments is a plus.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
Experience with treasury management and banking operations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other team members.
