Hines is seeking a proactive, execution-oriented Sr. Associate, Enterprise Applications to own and advance a portfolio of business-critical technology platforms. This role combines application ownership, technical problem-solving, business partnership, and delivery leadership. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, moves comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this individual will partner across business functions, IT, and external vendors to improve application performance, simplify processes, deliver integrations, and shape a scalable, secure enterprise application landscape. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Own assigned enterprise applications end to end, including roadmap, configuration, adoption, performance, lifecycle, controls, and continuous improvement.
Partner with the Director to translate business priorities into practical application strategies, and measurable delivery plans.
Supervises administrator team, of at least one other team member and provides support and guidance to team members.
Lead implementations, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and cross-functional projects from discovery and requirements through testing, rollout, and stabilization.
Work closely with business stakeholders and the Business Transformation Group to map workflows, challenge inefficient processes, and design solutions that leverage existing platforms before introducing new tools.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, data, security, and support teams to ensure reliable APIs, integrations, data flows, access controls, and interoperability.
Act as an escalation point for complex application issues; identify root causes, coordinate vendor resolution, and reduce recurring incidents.
Manage vendor relationships, service performance, product roadmaps, licensing considerations, and enhancement opportunities.
Evaluate emerging capabilities—including generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, low-code tools, and intelligent document processing—for practical, governed business use cases.
Champion data quality, responsible AI adoption, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including protection of personal and confidential information.
Guide administrators, analysts, and external partners; set priorities, communicate clearly, and drive accountability for outcomes.
Define and track operational and project measures such as adoption, service quality, delivery milestones, risk reduction, and efficiency gains.
Minimum Requirements include:
Understanding of application security, data governance, privacy, change management, and IT service management practices.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
8+ years of relevant IT, enterprise applications, business systems, or technology delivery experience; equivalent demonstrated expertise will be considered.
5+ years of experience in supervising team of admins, analysts and/or outsourced partners
Proven ownership of enterprise SaaS or business-critical applications, including implementations, enhancements, production support, and vendor coordination.
Working knowledge of system integrations, APIs, middleware, identity/access management, and enterprise data flows.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating internal teams or external partners; formal people management is a plus, not a prerequisite.
Strong analytical judgment, communication, stakeholder management, and ability to balance competing priorities with minimal oversight.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and support processes for enterprise applications.
Ability to bridge technical and business needs effectively.
Experience with enterprise IT projects and diverse technologies
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
