    Responsibilities

    As a Project Manager - Sustainable Design with Hines, you will coordinate global implementations of new design projects for a growing technology company with a focus on sustainability materials and environmentally friendly construction practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

    • Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives
    • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, Client Standards, sustainability design, QA/QC program requirements, as well as individual roles and responsibilities
    • Coordinate with the Architect, Contractor, and other project team members to meet the project objectives and resolve issues
    • Assist in the documentation submission of statutory project documentation and approvals related to the project work
    • Document the status of the projects, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents
    • Provide support for new build project sites as well as specialty projects at existing sites from beginning to completion
    • Work closely with facility design team, project architect, and other internal technical teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budge
    • Manage sustainable design standards
    • Assist in managing specialty projects as needed 

    Qualifications

    Minimum requirements include:

     

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a closely related field from an accredited institution preferred
    • Ten or more years experience in project management
    • Three or more years experience in sustainability focused design work
    • Experience working on corporate commercial projects required
