As a Smart Buildling Project Manager with Hines, you will assess, optimize and integrate various technology systems related to real estate and facilities operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Drive solutions, global standards and processes in regards to building automation, energy management, indoor environment quality initiatives.
  • Align smart building and smart campus initiatives across regions. Coordinate regional efforts on BMS platform, standardize facility operation KPI.
  • Identify needs and challenges that can be addressed with potential IOT approaches, provide recommended course of actions, and drive global projects execution.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on building wellness and sustainability initiatives
  • Lead smart building product, system selection, security review and installation process.
  • Support building data integration and repository strategy.
  • Lead Building Information Management (BIM) technology development and implementation.
  • Develop BIM data modeling and interpretation.
  • Provide oversight to Asbuilt data management process and system integration.
  • Communicate and share data with facility management team and leadership.
  • Provide insight and vision to next generation technology trend and cutting edge smart devices and products.



Minimum Requirements include:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution and work experience in smart buildings and network systems
  • Ten or more years of working experience with building technologies, building management systems, and facilities management tools
  • Thorough understanding of IT and network security requirements for building IOT
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present data interpretation
  • Reveit and/or AutoCAD experience desired
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • LEED or Well-Building certification preferred
