Responsibilities

As a Furniture Planner with Hines, you will coordinate global implementation of new furniture design and projects for a growing technology client. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide support for new build project sites as well as specialty projects at existing sites from beginning to completion
  • Work closely with facility design team, project architect, project furniture vendor(s), and other internal technical teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget
  • Track purchase orders with vendors and suppliers
  • Oversee vendor delivery/installation timelines and on-site project installation, including walk-throughs and punch resolution
  • Oversee all specialty furniture projects on corporate campus
  • Facilitate non-project based, new furniture requests/orders from end-users, Facilities Ergo, and off-site locations, including all new furniture task requests via ticket system
  • Provide furniture test fits for new builds or existing sites as needed using AutoCAD

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Five or more years of experience in facilities and/or furniture planning
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
  • Ability to read construction plans and furniture specifications
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently
