As a Director of Management Services with Hines at Amazon’s corporate headquarters, you will be a critical point of contact for Hines’ client communications as it relates to their management of operations.  You will promote Hines’ best in class management of Amazon’s newly developed headquarters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:


  • Act as a critical point of contact and communicate with client daily
  • Work closely with Hines Senior Engineering, Property, Facilities, Program and Finance Management personnel to represent Amazon's best interests from an operations management perspective
  • Play an active and strategic role within the Hines Amazon Leadership Team

  • Responsible for the overall successful operations of properties, with a focus on implementation, quality assurance and reporting, to ensure the team meets or surpasses client expectations

  • Develop and provide support for training and continuous improvement

  • Be a first adopter and implementer of Customer Culture Focus

  • Meet, report, and further define, SLAs & KPIs as a response to changing client needs and growth

  • Interface regularly and effectively with business stakeholders

  • Identify initiatives and implement action plans that can benefit the property, the integration of the team, and the customers

  • Foster relationships and grow collaboration between Facilities, Property, Engineering, Accounting and Programs departments

  • Actively engage in the recruitment and development of the management team


Minimum Requirements include:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution
  • Ten or more years professional work experience with five or more years in Property, Facilities or Integrated Facilities Management
  • Account Management and Client Relationship Management experience preferred
  • Hospitality and customer service background preferred
  • P&L responsibility and budgetary experience
  • Strategic Planning, Vision Casting and Annual Planning experience
