Responsibilities

As an Analyst with Hines on the Research Team, you will assist with the procurement, analysis, and interpretation of commercial real estate data and trends.  Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist with regular maintenance, updating, and analysis of investment performance data, databases, and standardized reports
  • Develop new models and analytical tools
  • Respond to ad hoc research requests and communicating those results to internal colleagues
  • Assist with other research related projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance or related field from an accredited institution
  • Two or more years related experience in real estate analysis or as an analyst in a quantitative role
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills with a basic understanding of macroeconomics and commercial real estate economics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to design complex models and analyze and develop automated, repeatable processes on large, complex datasets.  Proficiency with VBA and SQL preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
  • Progress toward CFA designation a plus
