    Responsibilities

    As a Senior Analyst with Hines, you will provide research and analytical support associated with retail asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions.  The Analyst will be exposed to various aspects of real estate investment management and the retail industry including market research, leasing strategies, underwriting of acquisitions, financial modeling and administration of investor requirements.  Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

     

    • Analyzing potential leases and reviewing leases for approval
    • Updating or reviewing quarterly Argus models
    • Reviewing quarterly reports and annual budgets
    • Creating presentations
    • Property level interaction
    • Researching prospective tenants and markets
    • Underwriting new acquisitions
    • Document control related to due diligence processes
    • Monitor tenant credit for existing major tenants in the portfolio
    • Perform credit reviews on major tenants
    • Provide administrative and financial support
    • Complete quarterly appraisal assumption summary and assist in appraisal review
    • Support investor presentations, acquisitions, SEC reporting requirements, audits, and purchase price allocation
    • Respond to internal information requests
    • Prepare local market data compilations

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements include:

     

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline
    • Retail experience strongly preferred
    • Two or more years of experience in real estate or financial analysis role
    • Strong analytical/quantitative skills
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus
