    Responsibilities

    As a Workplace Manager with Hines, you will lead the Hines Space Planning and Design Teams by partnering closely with our Clients to provide both local and global support for our Clients’ Real Estate and Facilities Department. You will provide strategic, operational and financial planning that aligns with both the Hines and the Client’s goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Lead the supervision and management of workplace functions to ensure compliance with agreed standards
    • Management of direct reports to maintain, motivation, engagement & personal development
    • Management of annual performance management process for direct reports
    • Management of team personal development plans & training
    • Management of Internal approvals in respect of leave, travel & expenses
    • Develop and manage the budgets for all staff and expenses
    • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders with the Workplace Design and Planning teams and represent the workplace team with Cross-Functional teams
    • Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements include:

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Design, Planning or related discipline from an accredited institution
    • Five or more years of management experience, High-tech working environment preferred
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
