    As an Associate with Hines, you will provide research and analytical support associated with real estate acquisitions & development projects as well as asset management of operating properties.  Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:


    • Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities via development budgets, financial modeling, analysis of cash flows, and application of valuation methods using a combination of Argus and Excel software.
    • Assist with due diligence process associated with acquisitions.
    • Participate in the management of development projects including feasibility analysis, entitlement processes, financing, design, contracting, and construction management.
    • Participate in the asset management of existing properties including market research, leasing, property sales and administration of investor requirements.
    • Perform market research and analyze business proposals to support leasing strategies and decisions.
    • Source, maintain and update sales and lease comparable databases.
    • Prepare presentation materials and proposals.


    Minimum Requirements include:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline from an accredited institution; MBA strongly preferred
    • Two or more years related experience in real estate or in a financial analysis role 
    • Experience working with equity and/or debt markets, performing market research, real estate underwriting and creating comprehensive offering memorandums and/or investment committee packages
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Experience with Argus Enterprise real estate modeling software preferred
    • Strong analytical/quantitative skills
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
