    As a Multifamily Business Process Associate with Hines, you will be responsible for enhancing operational processes and customer solutions through process definition, application requirements and configuration of end user transaction processing systems and tools. This role is also responsible for the leadership, direction and program development of multi-family ancillary services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    • Facilitates the evaluation of all software and system initiatives; successes and failures and corrective actions as necessary to guarantee system functionality, reliability, accuracy, and quality of systems; provide follow-up and results to evaluate system consistency to ensure needs are being met, enabling the company to achieve performance goals.
    • Acts as business process owner and directs the daily usage of the underlying systems, supporting and contributing to strategic and tactical initiatives to improve these processes and systems. Define, enhance and/or support the underlying workflow of these systems.
    • Responsible for directing the identification of enhancements and expanded capabilities of these major enterprise systems through direct facilitation with the end users (CMs, RMs, etc.).
    • Collaborates with VP, Multifamily and VP, Business Technologies Group to ensure development and implementation of department and corporate strategic and tactical business platform initiatives.
    • Contributes to the planning efforts to support the strategic planning process as it relates to their assigned applications, processes and impacts to those systems or processes.
    • Collaborates and works closely with Operations Leads and Subject Matter Experts to define, manage and execute project requirements.
    • Identifies, implements, and adheres to multi-state and federal government regulations, corporate policy mandates, corrective action plans, compliance requirements and process improvement initiatives impacting systems, operating platform and associated processes and workflows.
    • Ensure continuous platform improvement by responding to feedback and championing process improvement initiatives.
    • Oversees the ancillary service functions and processes in the residential portfolio including resident screening, collections, renter’s insurance and deposit alternative programs including income generating programs like laundry leases, cable marketing agreements and miscellaneous vendor contracts.
    • Identifies and acts on areas for improvement by recommending and cost-justifying programs and initiatives that drive change, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and stimulate productivity.
    • Develop or ensure the development of any relevant technical documentation, end-user training materials and support documents.
    • Evaluates technology integrated instructional professional development programs to provide to Learning & Development team.


    Minimum Requirements include:



    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution
    • Seven or more years progressive experience in a similar role, with a three or more years managing complex projects in business process improvement
    • Three or more years experience managing technology related projects in the multi-family industry
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
