    Responsibilities

    As a Americas Project Management Operations Assistant with Hines, you will develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and vendors within the facilities category. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Provide support to Americas Project Management team
    • Act as liaison between Sourcing and Facilities Project Management teams to ensure departments follows procurement strategies, processes, policies, and best practices
    • Manage procurement process for Facility projects including placing orders, creating requisitions, navigating through the internal approval process, change orders, and close-out
    • Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts
    • Collaborate directly with Legal team to ensure document compliance
    • Coordinate contracts with new 3rd party service providers.
    • Interface with Project Managers to coordinate contract prioritization with Sourcing department.
    • Support regional PM leads with project budgeting and scheduling
    • General office duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements include:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Two or more years of related experience required
    • Advanced knoweldge of Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work effectively within deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment
    • Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up
    • Experience in budgeting, accrual and cash flow processes
    • Experience drafting and executing contract documents
