    As a Specialty Leasing Coordinator with Hines, you will serve as the primary resource for the Specialty Leasing department as it relates to administrative and event coordination duties.  In addition, you will collaborate with the Director of Specialty Leasing on managing and executing the center’s Specialty Leasing deals as well as contribute to the center realizing and exceeding specialty leasing revenue goals.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    • Organize, design, and communicate details of Specialty Leasing deals, events and programs within and outside the organization.  Support and often spearhead all Specialty Leasing event efforts from planning to execution.
    • Assist in identifying and building relationships with key vendors and contractors ensuring flawless execution and maintenance of brand standards.
    • Focus on improving existing Specialty Leasing programs while assisting in the creation of new and varied experiences that offer a fresh and inviting guest experience.
    • Prepare event notifications and manage Specialty Leasing events on property– sometimes requiring evening and weekend assignments.
    • Support administrative duties such as application processing, expense reporting, invoice coding and processing as needed.
    • Maintain files, issue fines, collect rent and sales information from retailers.
    • Works closely with the Director of Specialty Leasing and Operations Manager to ensure tenant compliance with property guidelines.
    • Assist in coordinating Specialty Leasing events, RMU and Temp In-Line tenant move in and move out.
    • Coordinate retailer visual merchandising displays and signage.
    • Facilitate license agreement administration for all Specialty Leasing deals to include: events, temp in-line stores, RMUs (kiosk), Vending, Filming, Advertising, and Sponsorship.  
    • Responsible for overseeing the administrative details for all License Agreements.
    • Update and maintain Specialty Leasing CRM (Salesforce) database.
    • Resolve customer complaints and communicate any issues to the General Manager and Director of Specialty Leasing for the property.


    Minimum Requirements include:


    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited institution preferred
    • Two or more years professional work experience, preferably in Marketing, Event Planning, Project Coordination in the Retail or Shopping Center industry
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment and multitasking/establishing priorities 
    • Self-motivated, proactive individual with a positive attitude
    • Ability to read and understand standard business documentation (e.g. contract language)
