    As the Director or Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at Hines for CityCenterDC, you will analyze the marketplace, plan and execute a strategic and integrated marketing program that will reach the target markets in order to increase short term and long-term sales, enhance the quality image/brand of CityCenterDC and increase property values.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Analyze marketplace (shopping center industry, retail industry) and customer trends
    • Develop written strategic market plan to address the marketplace and customer trends
    • Develop all marketing tools, i.e. advertising materials, radio-TV commercials, press releases, public relations materials, collateral materials, signs, etc
    • Work to obtain sponsorship opportunities to help with branding of certain key elements of the retail areas
    • Develop and execute special events and/or sales promotions
    • Develop positive relationships with all CityCenterDC merchants and act as retail advisor to tenants regarding methods to increase sales
    • Develop positive relationship with local and regional media
    • Develop and administer annual marketing and public space programming budgets
    • Develop and supervise marketing staff
    • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with the public (consumers, outside vendors, civic and non-profit groups)


    Minimum Requirements include:


    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Two or more years of marketing experience with management/supervisory experience
    • Financial responsibility/budgetary experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Ability to travel the property to execute events and communicate with tenants
