    As a Facilities Manager with Hines, you will act in a supporting role for a client's operations, take ownership of certain elements of the facilities operations scope of work, run projects, and provide response and coordination of resolution for specific requests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Manage the Vendor Service Requests process. Ensure requests are processed correctly, properly recorded, and completed on a timely basis

    • Develop and maintain positive relations with all business units

    • Meet with business unit representatives on a regular basis to dispense information related to facility support and solicit input

    • Negotiate and administer facility services, equipment, and vendor service contracts as appropriate

    • Ensure that the workplace supports the health and safety of all employees and visitors and that all activities are in accordance with local law and code

    • Support all project and workplace planning teams for construction and move projects including the provision for freight elevator scheduling, construction cleaning, final clean-outs, signage and more

    • Assist in support of special events planned by others in cafeterias, common lobbies, training and meeting rooms

    • Provide coordination, direction and support to each assigned employee to insure the success of the individual, Facebook Real Estate and Facilities and Hines

    • Ensure the Facilities documents are in accordance with the standard practice of Facebook Real Estate & Facilities

    • Recognize opportunities to reduce maintenance expenses without compromising customer satisfaction

    • Manage all service contracts for service such as shipping and receiving, office supplies, shredding services, interior landscaping, janitorial, carpentry, pest control, carpet maintenance, and more

    • Coordinate efforts with base building management to ensure cohesive team effort for effective resolution of issues affecting Facebook as tenant

    • Provide information and direct input in major fiscal activities, including budget preparation, financial planning and variance analysis

    • Provide economic justification for expenses including bidding of large purchase and/or price evaluation


    Minimum Requirements include:


    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited institution
    • Five or more years professional work experience, with supervisory experience strongly preferred
    • P&L responsibility and budgetary experience
    • Strong initiative and customer service orientation
