Responsibilities

As the General Manager - Account Services at Hines, you will have lead Hines Managers and employees and ensure consistency and compliance with Hines best practices and policies, while also ensuring that they are able to contribute to the work-delivery goals of each Facebook Workplace client group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Provide management support, motivation, employee engagement, and personal development opportunities to team reports
  • Ensure consistency in Performance Management across Workplace teams by creating a systematic feedback collection loop from FBAM’s, ensuring regular proactive communication and escalated concerns are addressed as necessary
  • Act as immediate escalation layer for FBAMs should any questions arise
  • Train Hines Managers to execute the process in accordance with best practices and agreed-upon client standards
  • Ensure consistency in Recruiting and Compensation on behalf of Workplace teams
  • Manage outside and Hines internal recruiting resourcing, and ensure Hines Managers are providing FBAMs with routine reporting
  • Develop and maintain standardized internal processes for interviewing and hiring, ensuring Hines Managers are appropriately trained and executing accordingly
  • Act as the senior Hines representative to all Hines employees and FBAMs, encouraging a strong connection to local, regional or national Hines teams/departments
  • Provide business intel through industry trade organizations or publication subscriptions where appropriate
  • Supervise vendor management across Workplace teams, training Hines Manager on client contract processes (including PO maintenance)
  • Educate Hines Manager within Workplace teams on cross-functional relationships
  • Arrange for routine and productive meetings with other Hines Managers, to provide increased visibility to how each team contributes to Facebook’s greater goals
  • Organize and arrange for QBR’s with client, utilizing Hines Managers and Hines internal subject matter experts, as well as any available industry resources

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Ten or more years’ management experience, managing direct reports and building teams

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Must be able to proactively think, plan, and execute resourcefully

  • Must be able to negotiate, organize, delegate, and multitask on various projects

  • Strong customer satisfaction focus, interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with interdepartmental teams

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

  • Experience with collaboration software preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in a high tech fast paced environment
